Notice of Open Position:  Ray Graham Association for People with Disabilities is now                                                        accepting resumes for the position of President and CEO 


Position Open Dates:        Resumes accepted from July 1 to August 15, 2010

Salary:                                   Salary commensurate with experience. 


Requirements:  The President and CEO of Ray Graham Association must demonstrate knowledge and experience in the field of disabilities that is in line with the Mission and Values of Ray Graham Association.  The President must have the skills to ensure the policies and procedures of the Association follow the directives of the Board of Directors, meet current laws, accreditation standards and licensure regulations.  The President and CEO must be dedicated to the development of innovative and responsive supports to enhance the lives of people with disabilities. The President and CEO must also have, and be able to continue, to develop and maintain productive and respectful relationships in the community in order to enhance social capital and community partnerships for individuals and the Association.  Furthermore, The President and CEO shall have the following attributes:


v  Masters Degree and 5 years experience in the field of disabilities;


v  Minimal of 3 years working with a Board of Directors or in government;


v  Ability to maintain and cultivate relationships with donors;


v  Working knowledge of fiscal duties and responsibilities and budgeting in a not-for profit in the State of Illinois;


v  Working knowledge and understanding of the working of state and federal government as it affects Ray Graham Association;


v   Ability to develop, implement, and follow through on strategic planning;


v  Excellent communication skills, both oral and written;


v  A team player with the ability to motivate, inspire and lead all levels of staff and community members; and


v  A self-starter with a strong work ethic who is entrepreneurial, conscientious, attentive to detail and results oriented.
